“Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand–relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.” ~Osho
This is a concept and a teaching that actually works. It is another way of saying "Let Go and Let God," or "Release your attachment."
I've been experiencing this phenomenon lately with situations and circumstances that I have worried about, stressed over, and obsessed over. Once I let go -- and I don't mean that I gave up in defeat - it didn't feel like that was what was happening -- once I let go and allowed my mind to focus back on the rest of my life, with an underlying sense of surrender to the Universe ("I trust You to work this out and show me the way...") a resolution presented itself within a day.
I have been thinking about how to share these experiences with you in hopes of encouraging you to feel empowered, when I stumbled upon the quote. (If you are on Twitter and enjoy inspirational and uplifting quotes, check out @TinyBuddha).
Whatever you are going through right now, just know that you are not alone and that Universal Love is available for you to tap into and receive. Our time on this planet flies by so quickly. You've been here before, and you'll likely be back again - it takes a lot of experience to master the art of being human :0) .
We all make mistakes....we all go through difficult times...we have all had situations in which we try so hard and then end up disappointed or discouraged because things didn't turn out the way they thought they would.
If you practice yoga, you have likely experienced on many occasions the need to be patient with your body and mind. We have one thought about the way we should be able to move our bodies or about how quiet our mind should be, and yet that is not always the case. What can you do but accept it, love yourself through it, and continue to work toward your goal?
We can take that lesson off of the mat and into our lives in the very same way. If you are going through something difficult right now...if you are becoming impatient with something you've been waiting on for what seems to be an eternity...if you just don't know how you are going to handle another rainy day - hold on. Declare that you will Trust that all of the details are being worked out. Declare that you will keep your eyes, ears, and heart open to the answer that will present itself and that you are willing to do the footwork to see it through. Believe.
All will be well, and even in this moment, All is Well.
